Months after the Patriot revolt was crushed by the British troops in 1839, hundreds of rebels still languish in jail. The morning of February14, Marie-Thomas Chevalier De Lorimier and Charles Hindelang find out that they and three other friends will be hanged in 24 hours. The condemned spend their final moments with friends and family, holding final conversations and entrusting them with their final wishes.
