Lucio Fulci, the master of Italian horror, stars as... Lucio Fulci, a filmmaker known for his gruesome horror films. His body of work has begun to haunt him, and he is haunted by the grotesque set-pieces his mind has conjured up throughout his career. His psychiatrist, Egon Swharz, uses a hypnotized Fulci as an avatar to carry out his own disturbed fantasies, in the hopes of permanently destroying the master's reputation.
