A Cool, Dry Place
A single father balances his work as an attorney with caring for his five-year-old son and coaching high school basketball in rural Kansas, where he relocated after his wife abandoned him in Chicago. His ex-wife reappears and wants to reassert herself in the lives of her husband and son, just as he begins to form a new relationship with a veterinarian's assistant. On top of the romantic conflict, he is suddenly presented with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join a major firm in Dallas.
