A Scene at the Sea
When deaf garbage man Shigeru (Kurôdo Maki) finds a broken surfboard on a few of his runs, so it piques his curiosity, although he has no experience with surfing. He repairs the board and, together with loyal girl friend Takako (Hiroko Oshima), that also is deaf, he sets out to learn to ride waves. Through the locals and accidents mock him he goes. However, with the help of a shopowner who was a surfing legend, Shigeru could finally have a opportunity to eventually become one with the community and the ocean.
