A Simple Twist of Fate
When the woman he loves throws Michael McCann, he's something of a miser and a misanthrope, spending most his spare money on classic coins. Living in the town is a rich family with two sons: Tanny and John. Tanny's a boywhom John can't restrain, and he divides in to the house of McCann, and enjoys the gold disappears, which nearly confirms McCann's skepticism of humankind. But , a young woman dies in the snow out the house of McCann, and her small daughter gets her way to the house of McCann and into the soul and life of McCann. He also names her Matilda, and raises her, finding a brand new happiness in life and companionship along with his adopted kid. But them will tear apart.
