Tomás, at fourteen years old, is entering adolescence, a period in one's life when not only physical and emotional changes occur, but memories begin to take on more traumatic forms as well. That's why he visits a psychiatrist on a regular basis, and why he behaves strangely. He is a hermit, bearing as much as he can the extreme normalcy of his family, who are dying for summer to arrive so they can go to a time share at the beach, whereas Tomás wants to escape... to the moon.
