When a woman attempts to murder her uncaring husband, Adam Bonner is assigned the case. Unfortunately for him, his wife Amanda (a lawyer herself) decides to represent the woman in court. Amanda goes to great lengths to win the case, and Adam is furious. As a result, their perfect marriage is ruined by minor disagreements.
