Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (Royal Opera House)
Christopher Wheeldon created a full-length ballet for the Royal Ballet to perform at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden. The ballet is based on Lewis Carroll's famous story about Alice, an ordinary girl who falls down a rabbit hole one summer afternoon and ends up on an extraordinary adventure. Joby Talbot composed the music, and Bob Crowley designed the visuals. Lauren Cuthbertson of the Royal Ballet dances Alice, and actor Simon Russell-Beale appears as the Duchess in a cameo role.
