Anne of Green Gables: The Sequel
Anne Shirley, now a school teacher, has begun writing stories and collecting rejection slips. She makes the acquaintance of a handsome, rich, mentor, chases a cow, and wins (for her chagrin) a baking soda company's writing contest. She refuses Gilbert Blythe's union proposal, and acts like Diana's maid of honor. Which directs her to teach Kingsport Ladies' College, an exclusive girls school, where she meets resistance from a number of the educators, Miss Brooke, and the Pringle clan (among whom's really a rich, handsome bachelor). However, while Anne likes also the friends she earns, and the battle, she contributes to Avonlea.
