Apartment 1303
While observing with her friends in her new cheaply rented flat (with balcony and view of the ocean ) on the thirteenth floor of a structure, the young Sayaka abruptly jumps off the balcony committing suicide. Her mother goes mad along with her older sister, Mariko, decides to investigate her sister's death. She finds that there have been many suicides of young women. She finds a novel telling the narrative of the Yukiyo the initial tenants of the flat, and her mother and also finds out the truth behind the suicides.
