Overcoming obstacles, including addictions and a familial relationship, DJ AM rose to the surface of the audio market. A pioneer of their mash up movement, he eventually became one of the most recognizable DJs in the world. He remained haunted by the demons of his past. After cheating death in a plane accident, a over-dose lead to his death.
