Battle Royale II: Requiem
Three years have passed after the events of the first Battle Royale, and now Shuya Nanahara is an internationally renowned terrorist intent on overthrowing the government. His terrorist organization, Wild Seven, launches an attack on Christmas Day that destroys many buildings in Tokyo, killing 8,000 people. In order for the government to explore the advantages of "teamwork," the new pupils work in pairs, with their collars electronically linked so that if one dies, the other dies as well. They must eliminate Nanahara within three days, or perish.
