Bed and Board
Antoine Doinel, a Parisian everyman, married his sweetheart Christine Darbon, and the couple has settled into a nice domestic life of selling flowers and providing violin lessons while Antoine works on his long-gestating novel in fits and starts. Antoine is enthralled by a young Japanese beauty while Christine becomes pregnant with the couple's first child. The complexities alter the direction of their relationship for the rest of their lives.
