Berlin in the summer. Three twenty-somethings: Maria, Niels, and Chlo, all from Berlin. They fall headfirst into a joyful and tumultuous love affair as they float libidinously through Berlin. They enjoy life to the fullest, grabbing hold of anything and everything they can get their hands on. Until Chloe unexpectedly gets pregnant, their main reference point appears to be the joy they share together. Insecurity, wrath, envy, and distrust have erupted. Planned and refused abortions are discussed. When and where can someone have a voice? Until it appears that a fragile equilibrium can be restored, their odd trio crumbles and their once-balanced connection changes into fluctuating constellations of two. Has the utopia arrived, or are we witnessing a period of relative tranquility? It takes effort to love in a different way. Maria, Niels, and Chlo have no idea what's coming their way. And they're not.
