Between Midnight and Dawn
Rocky and Dan, two old comrades, are on patrol car duty together at night. Rocky takes a more forgiving stance than Dan, who is a pessimist who considers all lawbreakers to be filth. Both of them are drawn to the communicator Kate Mallory's voice over the radio, but when they meet her in person, they find that she is reluctant to get connected with guys who just might be able to stop a bullet. Because of a stroke of good luck, Rocky and Dan are able to cause major problems for the ruthless racketeer Ritchie Garris; yet, when Garris vows revenge, Kate's concerns may turn out to be well-founded.
