The now middle-aged best friends Bill and Ted set off on a new adventure when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can preserve life as we know it. This is because still to realize their rock and roll destiny, Bill and Ted have yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny. Along the journey, they will be assisted by their daughters, a new crop of historical people, and a few music giants— all with the goal of finding the song that would bring harmony to the cosmos and make their world whole again.
