Italy, march 1945 Asolo. Livia Mazzion, the wife of a ministry official, slides to lawyer Ugo Oggiano, Livia's admirer and her spouse's informer's car. Livia must hit Venice and her lover Helmut Schultz, a Wermacht lieutenant, accursed and as exquisite as being a god, with whom she is having a burning romance. During the trip she relives the highpoints of her devastating sexual gone adrift, the one who has crushed her life and her destiny, swallowing her up at a sybaritic and bituminous Venice's vortex.
