After a botched laser eye surgery procedure left Faye blind, she now lives alone in her dream house in the Hollywood Hills, struggling to get her life back on track. Her friend Sophia encourages her to open up to Luke, a personal trainer who is deaf and communicates solely through his cell phone, and she does so with grace and ease. She won't be as alone as she thinks when a mysterious masked stranger, Pretty Boy, appears.
