S. Lance Ingram, a repentant gang boss, tries to adapt to a new Harlem. Lance is forced to accept a job delivering meals for a local food bank because he is unable to use the technology talents he learned in prison. He meets Ms. Maddy,75, a former beauty with an acerbic and harsh exterior, and delivers dinners to her. Lance re-discovers the joys of life and living via her, despite their society's apparent flaws.
