CHOIR GIRL is a gritty drama about Eugene, a lonely photographer, who becomes obsessed with Josephine, an underage prostitute in his rundown neighborhood. She has fled a war-torn country only to be trapped in the illegal sex trade by corruption and Daddy, a powerful underworld criminal. Eugene, on the other hand, sees Josephine as a symbol of purity in the midst of darkness; when he photographs her, there is something enticing about her, and she quickly becomes his muse.
