Corpus Christi
This is the story of Daniel, a 20-year-old in a Youth Detention Center who undergoes a spiritual metamorphosis. Because of his criminal record, he can't pursue his dream of becoming a priest. Upon arriving in a tiny town to work at a carpenter's workshop, he mistakenly assumes the role of priest and seizes control of the local parish. For the local community, the coming of the young, charismatic preacher is a chance to begin the healing process following a tragedy that occurred there.
