Dalecarlians
Mia travels from Stockholm to her hometown in Dalecarlia (Dalarna) so that the family can celebrate her father's 70th birthday. Eivor and Gunilla, her older sisters, are happy to have her, but they come from quite different backgrounds and have a hard time connecting with her because of it. Building tension causes the celebration to become a watershed moment for the family and their closest friends.
