Short subject documentary film directed by Stanley Kubrick. Kubrick financed the picture himself, also it's based on an earlier feature he had done as a photographer for Look magazine in 1949. 'Day of the Fight' shows Irish-American middle weight boxer Walter Cartier to a struggle with black middle weight Bobby James' day, which took place.
