Day of the Stranger
Day of the Stranger, a free adaptation of Mark Twain's classic novella 'The Mysterious Stranger,' revives the 1970s acid western genre. For hire is Loomweather's merciless bounty hunter, Caine Farrowood, who works for the kingpin. When a bounty recovery goes horribly wrong, Caine is the only one who is left standing. Then, out of nowhere, he finds himself back at home with Christina, the love of his life. Despite Caine's insistence on finding out how he came home, he is soon involved in the recovery of a second bounty. When Caine is faced against a person who may or may not be the fallen angel, he may lose not only his life, but his sanity as well.
