Dane 'Marbles' Marbeck has the ability to see ghosts as a result of a manufactured medicine made from his late father's neurological prescription and marijuana. Officer Jayson Tagg is assassinated while on the trail of a serial killer. Thus, when Marbles' mother decides to sell the family property and the only way to purchase it is to take the money given by Tagg in exchange for his assistance, Marbles accepts. The incongruous pairing of a stoner psychic and a ghost cop must resolve their differences while navigating ghouls, perverts, a mysterious cloaked figure, and an unexpected shot at love. Marbles and Tagg must confront their greatest regrets and overcome their prejudices if they are to solve the case with their souls intact.
