Dead Reckoning
Paratroopers Captain'Rip' Murdock and Sergeant Johnny Drake are ordered to Go to Washington, DC. When Drake learns he is usually to be granted the Medal of Honor, he disappears before paper photographers could shoot his picture. Murdock follows the clues and tracks down him, where he learns Drake is dead. Unexpected twists are revealed by further investigations. Rip sets out to learn whatever he could and discovers that Johnny had been accused of murder. He falls in love with Mick whose husband Johnny is assumed to have murdered.
