15 years ago, a cargo ship, Daiichi Yachiyo Maru , was crashed to a large dip in northern the Pacific Ocean, and sank. A crew and the captain were expired. Now, in Nishitama, a boat designer was endured a sudden hart attack while he drove, and expired in a traffic crash. Half a year has passed since then. Conan, Ran, and Kogoro are appreciating their trip. The Aphrodite is a luxury liner, and it is currently sailing because its maiden voyage for the Pacific Ocean. But, is just a person that is questionable, and finally a murder does occur. It's the beginning of a horrible plot happened in the ocean where there is no place to escape out of.
