Chef Dave Oberlin's (Ryan Rottman) livelihood is in shambles when his altercation with a renowned food critic proceeds viral. Dave has been forced to take a teaching position after being blacklisted by the restaurants. When cardiologist, Dr. Nina Kirby (Maya Stojan), is to get a promotion at the local hospital that the top of Cardiology informs her when she gets Dave on board to teach the Healthy Living seminars she'd have been a shooin for the position.
