Eyewitness
Daryll Deever works as a janitor in a New York office building and admires Tony Sokolow, a television news reporter. When a wealthy man is assassinated in Daryll's building, Tony arrives to cover the story, and Daryll greets her. Tony chases him, thinking he could have information on the crime, and he pretends to have it in order to see her. The killers are keeping an eye on them as they play this game, figuring Daryll and Tony are both more knowledgeable about the crime than they are.
