Faithless
An affair between an actress (Marianne) and a musician (Johannes) leads to the breakdown of their marriage in this deeply personal film, which was written by Ingmar Bergman (Markus). Marianne decides to move in with her lover in order to prolong their relationship. She is, however, haunted by Markus' choice to deny her visitation rights to their infant child. This leads to duplicity, falsehoods, and ultimately, tragedy, when Markus finally reveals his solution to the deadlock.
