Five Miles to Midnight
Soon after Lisa (Loren) announces her separation from her immature, abusive, yet easy-going husband Robert (Perkins), he is declared dead in an aircraft crash. While he is still alive in secret, he convinces her to collect his life insurance, despite the fact that she understands it is a poor idea. Lisa is forced to deal with the scheme's complications, which include an aggressive suitor (Young), Robert's jealously, and her own guilt.
