Youthful sitter Amanda comes to the Lloyd residence to spend the evening caring for their young child. Not long after the Lloyds leave, a collection of frightening incidents in the gloomy old house have Amanda's nerves on edge. The real horror starts, however, when the youngster's biological father shows up after recently leaving from a nearby mental institution.
