Ghost in the Machine
Karl, a computer shop technician, is the "Address Book Killer," stealing victims' names from stolen address books. Using Terry's contact book, a salesman shows off a hand-held scanner to Terry and Josh. Following Karl's acquisition of the file, his automobile drives off the road and flips over in a cemetery that night. A flash of lightning transforms Karl's soul into electrical energy as he is having a CAT scan at the hospital. Karl continues his killing spree using the electrical grid and computer networks.
