In the summer of2013, producer/director Victoria Marie created a short video for her YouTube channel titled Gray Is The New Blonde on her own gray hair experience. To her amazement, she received an outpouring of comments in reaction to that video. "I was completely taken aback," she stated. "I had no idea gray hair was such a hot topic." She knew immediately that she had struck a chord and desired to become more engaged, but she was just a few months away from relocating across the nation to her new home in Los Angeles, so she would have to wait. After a year in Los Angeles navigating the standard new actor arrival process with little to show for it, she recognized she needed to create her own content in order to stand out in the entertainment industry's brutal atmosphere. She realized at that point that the time had arrived to follow the growing interest in ladies with gray hair. As a result, the documentary Gray Is The New Blonde was created!
