Guillermo Vilas, an Argentine tennis legend, has been demanding that the official rankings (1973-78) be revised for more than four decades in order to be recognized as the best player in the world. Eduardo Puppo, a sports journalist who adopted Vilas' demand, fought for more than ten years against a powerful sports corporation to prove that Vilas had been unfairly displaced from the top of the world tennis rankings.
