Hanagatami
The year is 1941, and it is springtime. Toshihiko, a sixteen-year-old high school student in the coastal town of Karatsu, where his aunt is caring for his sick cousin, is a typical teenager. In the midst of the seaside's nature and culture, Toshihiko quickly becomes friends with the town's other outstanding teens as they all struggle to survive the gravitational pull of World War II.
