When a youthful ski team preparing for the Olympics arrives in the distant and isolated Lost Mountain Ski Resort to focus on training, they are overjoyed to discover a veteran Olympic skier is on hand to assist them. However, their preparations are thwarted when a scientist from a neighboring government lab arrives with the chilling news that a top-secret government study has created huge spiders that have escaped, killing and devouring everything in their path.
