In Love and War
When Ernest Hemingway (Chris O'Donnell), a teenage ambulance driver, is wounded in the leg by shrapnel during World War I, he falls in love with Agnes von Kurowsky (Sandra Bullock), a beautiful older nurse at the hospital where he is being treated. Their relationship grows slowly until Hemingway boldly asks Agnes to be his wife and accompany him to America. This drama, directed by Richard Attenborough, is based on the famous novelist's real-life experiences.
