Set during the Cold War, the Soviets -- directed by Irina Spalko -- come looking for a crystal skull which has supernatural powers related to a Lost City of Gold. After being caught and escaping from their store, Indy is coerced to head to Peru at the behest of a man whose friend -- along with Indy's colleague -- Professor Oxley was seized due to his understanding of their skull where abouts.
