Jan Dara: The Finale
Based on a Thai novel, the film tells the story of Jan, a boy who grows up in a house lorded over Luang Wisnan, with his debauched and sadistic daddy. Place in the 1930?therefore the story recounts the growing pains of Jan, whose mother dies while giving birth to him and who's profoundly hated by his own daddy. Jan matures with Aunt Wadhis step mother, and he struggles to reconcile his sexual guilt and unhappiness with different ladies in his life, for example a lady named Hyacinth, whom he adores, also after Madame Boonleunghis father's lover who becomes a key to Jan's sensual awakening.
