King on Horseback
Henri La Tour, a musician known for his walking performances, is also a courageous explorer. Therefore, when, after completing a spectacular deed, he is bestowed a title by King Louis XV, the Duke of Saint-Sever takes issue at it and challenges Henri to a duel in order to settle the dispute once and for all. However, as they are fighting, an unexpected squad of Austrian soldiers appears, and the two competitors immediately join forces in order to repel their foes. Unfortunately, Saint-Sever has received fatal wounds, and when he realizes that his time on earth is drawing to a close, he begs his new buddy to save the life of Toinon, his biological daughter, who is in danger.
