Lina from Lima
Ten years have passed since Lina left her son in Peru with her mother and moved to Chile in order to find employment as a housemaid. These days, we are in the days leading up to Christmas. An earlier superior named Manuel has approached her with a request to oversee the construction of a swimming pool in the new home he is building for his daughter Clara. Lina lives in a residence that is only partially occupied, and she spends her days taking care of Clara. At night, she sneaks out of the house to have casual intercourse with strangers, who are confronted with her painful loneliness.
