Love and Monsters
Joel Dawson, like the rest of humanity, has been living underground for seven years since the Monsterpocalypse, ever since giant creatures took control of the land. Joel begins to fall for his high school girlfriend Aimee again after reconnecting with her over the radio, who is now 80 miles away at a coastal colony. As Joel realizes there is nothing left for him underground, he decides against all logic to go out to Aimee, despite the dangers that await him.
