Ma-nim (Kim Jeong-ah-II) becomes a priest after her husband dies from sickness and also she arrives in Bukgando for remarried. Her new husband is a wealthy and handsome man but he is murdered by a Japanese before she spends a night . Ma-nim is at the house. Every one by the grandfather and her husband's side renders and servant named Bau are left behind. One day, Ma-nim notices that Bau has a way of staring in her and a strange sense overcomes her. She'd to oppress her desires being a woman because of individuality that is strict and her two short marriages. Bau hadn't ever made love before but she didn't mind his gaze. The two of them begin a forbidden romance behind grandfather's back...
