When it's the summer of 1974, A group of four friends is going on a hiking and camping trip in the forest. People at a remote truck stop pick up a hitchhiker who is very nervous. After a short ride, the hitchhiker asks them to stop the car. She is clearly afraid of something, but she can't even begin to describe it in her carsick terror because she is so scared. In a split second, the group is ambushed and left unconscious.
