Meteor
After a collision with a comet, a not quite 8km wide part of this asteroid"Orpheus" is going towards Earth. If it will hit it will cause a extraordinary tragedy which will probably extinguish humanity. To block the meteor NASA wants to work with the illegal atomic weapon satellite"Hercules" but discovers soon it doesn't have enough fire power. Their only opportunity to save the whole world is to combine forces with the USSR who've launched such an illegal satellite. But will both governments agree?
