Ancient Korea, 1506. The despotic King Yeonsan-gun of Joseon is toppled by his half-brother Jung-jong, whose reign begins with a blood bath. Over the years, traitors story against him, sinking the kingdom right into disorder. In 1528, scared rumors concern royal palace, concerning a mystical creature, known as Monstrum by the peasants.
