Mothering Sunday
Establish over a day in 1924, the story follows Jane Fairchild, a maid in the Niven family, that has the time off to celebrate Mothering Sunday while Mr. and Mrs. Niven attend a lunch to commemorate the involvement of their neighbour's only remaining child, Paul, to Emma Hobday. Jane celebrates at her freedom on an unseasonably warm, lovely springtime day. But, she has no mother to head to. For practically 7 years she has-- joyfully as well as without shame-- been Paul's lover. Like the Nivens, Paul comes from England's old money aristocracy, whereas Jane was orphaned at birth. With your house comfortably empty, they can finally meet in Paul's room for the first time. Today will certainly be their last as lovers.
