Mountain of Storms
"Fun Hogs" was the name given to them by their peers. During a road trip to climb Cerro Fitz Roy in1968, five buddies shot footage on a 16mm Bolex camera to document the experience. Along the trip, they surfed undiscovered breaks, skied on sand and snow, spent 31 days in a snow cave, and accomplished the first ascent of the mountain, among other accomplishments. This picture, which defined a generation and went on to become an underground classic, is getting its first wide distribution fifty years after it was released in limited release.
