Murmur
Donna was just convicted of "Driving While Impaired" and is now required to volunteer at the local animal shelter. Donna decides to take an aging dog home when it is supposed to be euthanized, and she rapidly finds that his company might help her cope with her loneliness. Donna begins to take home more and more animals in a hopeless attempt to alleviate the emptiness she feels, and she eventually finds herself in over her head.
